It is so passive and non committal. Tell me you hated me. Tell me I am not qualified. I dont care but tell me SOMETHING! People seem to want to avoid hurting feelings so much they end up just pissing me off! I am glad I am not alone in that feeling!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214458.post-24571505478952690822014-05-05T02:44:04.858-07:002014-05-05T02:44:04.858-07:00@Ron

I would have done the same thing.

I never think anyone looks like me, but I was reading a library book a few months back and turned to the back cover and the author looked like me when I was in my 20's. I was blown away. Even my daughter agreed, though my spouse didn't really think so.Bijouxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05788630004051883635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214458.post-18244826126923086412014-05-04T20:40:48.857-07:002014-05-04T20:40:48.857-07:00You know, it's funny Rob because as I was read...You know, it's funny Rob because as I was reading this I was reminded of how many times I auditioned for a part in a play and was kind of told the same thing by the director..."We went in another direction."

And sometimes when I would go and see the play on opening night, I could see that they DID go in another direction, TOTALLY (with a different type than me). But then other times the person who got the part looked very similar to me.

I always tried to look at it as, oh well..it just wasn't meant to be. It wasn't my time. Or the RIGHT time.

"And I’m not sure I’d be happy in a place so different from New York."

Exactly. I think everything happens for a reason. And for our own good.

Besides, I would hate it if you moved away from NY, which is my FAVORITE city on the east coast.

Have a SUPER week, buddy! And say Hi to NYC for me!

Ronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15977027331657615697noreply@blogger.com
