We're paying people to tell something we already know about ourselves, but are refusing to tap into.

Maybe its some kind of guru syndrome where we need some authority figure to tell us what's going on in our own heads.

Change comes from within.Rob Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04741955202727936194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214458.post-32750309489146278212015-01-12T00:31:00.002-08:002015-01-12T00:31:00.002-08:00I've read a lot of self-help books and listene...I've read a lot of self-help books and listened to tapes and lectures etc. I've been to workshops, too. The only book I've read which did actually help me to understand and change my attitude a bit was 'Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus', which I found very insightful, and which switched on a little lightbulb in my head.

But the bottom line is that I will no longer waste my money or time on these things. Most often you'll be paying for something you already know, deep down, and nobody else can change you. I know for me, whenever I've struggled with something, whether it be my resistance to move forward or my fear of trying something new, it's always been ME who gets in my own way with thoughts of what's going to happen if I do move forward and try something new. Also, it's been about feeling worthy of success.

You're right, it's a lot about who we think we are and how we project that.

It's are own self-perception.

Great post, buddy!
