Isn't memory a funny...What an interesting post! Isn't memory a funny thing? I was listening to the radio a few days ago and a certain high school in my hometown was mentioned. I immediately thought of a friend I had from that school who was in my church youth group. She was Asian and had been adopted, which was really unusual back in the 1960's.

The weird thing was that I hadn't thought of her in over 30 years and now I wonder whatever became of her. It's good to look back and appreciate the connections we've had. It sounds like your friend knew just what to say to you, even though you were strangers.Bijouxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05788630004051883635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214458.post-24059926755500273522014-02-16T20:43:25.118-08:002014-02-16T20:43:25.118-08:00Hey,, Brother Ron, what do you say?

And I'm learning that it doesn't take much to lift people's spirits--even a kind word will do the trick.

Thanks as always for your kindness and support. I really appreciate it!

Have a great week, buddy!Rob Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04741955202727936194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10214458.post-60440951993598362014-02-16T20:06:36.197-08:002014-02-16T20:06:36.197-08:00Rob, just from the way you wrote this and describe...Rob, just from the way you wrote this and described this gentleman, I got such a clear vision and feeling for what he was like.

"Or maybe he was just a decent, friendly man."

Yup, and that's exactly what I felt. You know, sometimes I think certain people come into our lives at the right time, giving us what we need to help. Even if it's just a kind word to lift our spirits and give support when we need it most.

To me this guy sounded like he was just a genuinely kind and sweet man.

Beautifully written post, Rob! I love the way you share an experience because you have such a one-of-a-kind way of sharing it. Gifted writer you are!

Have a super week, buddy! And I hope that virus is gone soon. Take care.
Ronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15977027331657615697noreply@blogger.com
